A delegation of the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA) visits Moscow, Russia.

Negotiations were held with the leadership of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies, the Institute of Asian and African Countries at Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Center for East Asian and SCO Studies, and other education institutions.

Issues of cooperation between IICA and RISS were discussed with the Director of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies Mikhail Fradkov. Views were exchanged on the situation in Central Asia and the prospects for the development of regional partnership. An agreement was reached on the participation of representatives of the Russian institute in the International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities”.

A Cooperation Agreement was signed during the talks with the Director of the Institute of Asian and African Countries at Lomonosov Moscow State University Igor Abylgaziyev.

At the meeting with the Director of the Institute of Post-Soviet and Interregional Studies, President of the Russian State University for the Humanities, Efim Pivovar, promising areas of cooperation in the educational and analytical fields were identified. An agreement was reached on signing a Cooperation Agreement.
