
Andijan region’s Hokim Shukhratbek Abdurakhmonov met with members of the delegation led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Uzbekistan Gyula Kovács.
Uzbekistan has established mutually beneficial cooperation with many countries of the world in the economic, cultural and tourism spheres. At the meeting, it was noted that cooperation between the two countries is strengthening, and the volume of trade and services has increased by more than $100 million over the following years.
The parties discussed the project of production of the most exquisite delicacy of European, in particular French cuisine – foie gras, in Andijan.
The total cost of the project is $500 thousand. With the implementation of the project, it is planned to establish the export of products worth $2 million 880 thousand. Most importantly, 550 new jobs will be created within the framework of the project.
At the meeting, opinions were expressed about the specifics of the project, the conditions created in Uzbekistan for foreign investors.
