In seven months this year, 130 thousand local and 6 thousand foreign tourists visited Navoi region’s Khatirchi district.

The Angidon village, located among high mountains 100 km from the regional center and 45 km from the district center, attracts tourists with its wonderful nature, clean air, national dishes, and centuries-old traditions. This year, about 50,000 local and 2,000 foreign tourists visited this village.

15 family guest houses and 12 recreation centers have been established, and 12 types of tourist services have been provided in Angidon. About 200 unemployed residents, including women, are provided with permanent jobs. Today, more than twenty business entities are operating in the village. In particular, services such as ethnic animation, folklore performances, crafts, fishing, gastro houses for cooking national dishes, house museums, horseback riding, and others are available to tourists.

Recently, landscaping activities have been carried out on the territory of this unique village. The tourist route includes attractions, natural landscapes (mountains, water, springs), and specialized tourist facilities. It is planned to expand the provision of modern services, develop extreme tourism, and thereby further increase the number of tourists.
