Hokim of Samarkand region E. Turdimov met with members of the U.S. Congress.

He provided detailed information on the investment and tourism potential of Samarkand region and called for cooperation with leading American companies in the industry, engineering, agriculture and tourism.

The guests visited the sacred places of worship and historical monuments of Samarkand. They noted that historical monuments were erected based on the traditions of national architecture and cultural heritage must be preserved for future generations as an inseparable part of the treasury of world civilization.
