DGMC Uzbekistan Marketing Center has been opened in Uzbekistan – Korean Educational and Practical Textile Technopark in Tashkent.

Chairman of Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association Ilkhom Khaydarov, Governor of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province of South Korea Lee Cheol-Woo, Chairman of DGMC Choi Woo Gak and others noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Korea contributes to the development of the textile sector.

“Our cotton is completely processed on the spot”, says the Chairman of Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association Ilkhom Khaydarov. “The volume of annual exports in the sector has exceeded three billion dollars. Joint projects are being implemented in the textile sector.

The Republic of Korea is a global leader in terms of achievements in the textile sector. This country has great opportunities in introducing digital and green technologies into the industry.

A business forum and B2B meetings were held at Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association. A tripartite Memorandum of Understanding was signed.
