The conference was devoted to discussion of the results of the first year of Creative Spark programme and planning further actions within the framework of partnership and projects on creating culture of creative and entrepreneurial thinking, as well as opening of the English Club.
It was noted that the Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise Programme is designed for five years.
Experts have developed action plans and stages of British Council’s project implementation. It is planned to explore the labor market, determine the specific need for small business and private entrepreneurship, and organize competitions aimed at implementation of creative and entrepreneurial potential of university students.
Ashurova Aziza, a student of Silk Road International Tourism University presented her startup project Rosa Tour, dedicated to development of innovative technologies in tourism.
The conference also included talks between representatives of Silk Road International Tourism University with representatives of Oxford University Innovation Center and London Metropolitan University. Cooperation issues were discussed.
Agreements on organization of short-term training of teachers and three students of Silk Road International Tourism University in November 2019 at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh (Scotland) became a significant result of these meetings.
