Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland Konstantin Obolensky.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties considered proposals for the comprehensive strengthening of mutually beneficial ties and defined priority areas for interaction for 2023.

The importance of realizing the existing potential for cooperation in all areas, from the economy to the cultural dimension, was noted.

The successful dialogue between the two countries within the framework of international and financial organizations was emphasized, and the commitment of the parties to continue this dynamic of interaction in the future was confirmed.

The parties discussed issues of building up trade, economic and investment cooperation, intensifying inter-parliamentary dialogue, organizing joint events and high-level visits, deepening cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
