On May 7, 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Charge d'Affaires of France to Uzbekistan Brice Roquefeuil, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Current issues of Uzbekistan – France agenda were considered at the meeting.

The parties noted the fruitful results of the telephone conversation between the foreign ministers of the two countries on May 3 and discussed the implementation of the previously reached agreements.

The main attention was paid to the organizational issues of the upcoming bilateral events, including the visit of the Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Franck Riester, on 10-11 May 2021.

The parties also exchanged views on certain issues of mutual interest.
