Samarkand is recognized as one of the places of constant interest not only among locals, but also among foreign tourists.

There are many attractions in the city, a special place of which is occupied by the mausoleum of Amir Timur.

The period of the reign of Amir Timur and the Timurids has a special significance in the history of Uzbekistan. In the centralized state founded by Sahibkiran, science, culture and creative work were highly developed. This tradition was duly continued by the descendants of the great commander, and the Timurid era left an indelible mark in history.
