According to the Ministry of Energy, after the creation of the Ministry, several investment agreements were signed. 18 investment agreements were signed in the electric power industry.

According to these agreements, by 2025, 18 thermal, solar and wind power plants with a total capacity of 7,331 MW will be launched. This will amount to 50 percent of the current electricity generation in Uzbekistan.
