The Central Council of Uzbekistan Youth Union held an online event on “The Ecological Party of Uzbekistan and youth: goal, plan, result”.

Ecological situation in Uzbekistan, ongoing activity on environmental protection and existing shortcomings, measures to address them, importance of youth participation in environmental development were discussed at the event.

The role and tasks of youth leaders in the ongoing reforms, protection of nature, transferring it to the future generation in good condition, as well as the Aral Sea crisis, people’s wrong attitude to the environment, the need for preventing such shortcomings were also discussed at the meeting. Presentations on environmental problem arising as a result of the Aral Sea crisis were demonstrated.
