To implement joint educational projects and programs, a meeting was held between the Ministry of Digital Technologies representatives and professors from the Kyushu Institute of Technology of Japan.

An agreement signed with Kyushu Institute of Technology, one of Japan’s leading universities, allows seven young design engineers to pursue a two-year master’s program in spacecraft design, assembly, and testing.

During this period, they will work alongside experienced Japanese professors to develop and launch Uzbekistan’s first scientific and technological artificial satellite, 6U CubSat, into orbit.

It is worth noting that the legal foundation for this project is the Presidential Decree “On Measures for the Implementation of Aerospace Technologies in Economic Sectors for 2024-2026”.
