World Junior Tennis Players compete on Namangan courts
Namangan is currently hosting a J30 series junior tennis tournament featuring athletes from 10 countries.
In the first round of the boys’ singles, local players Nuriddin Bakhtiyorov, Mahmudbek Beknazarov, Hamidjon Mansurov, Alan Zinatulin, Daler Ulugov, Danila Kvasov, and Abdurakhmon Karimov secured victories. Among the girls, Muslimakhon Turdimuradova, Madinakhon Boltabayeva, and Shahzoda Ortiqboyeva advanced to the next round.
In the girls’ doubles, Shahzoda Ortiqboyeva and Linara Bulesheva (Kazakhstan) reached the quarterfinals, where they are set to face the neutral team of Karina Shayakhmetova and Maria Uvarova. In the boys’ doubles, the pair of Amir Safoyev and neutral player Timur Dautov progressed to the quarterfinals. They will compete against the neutral team of Mark Bakhanov and Nikita Penkov.
