Tashkent will host a meeting of the Bureau of the Executive Committee of World Aquatics.
A delegation led by the President of World Aquatics and the Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia, Husain Al-Musallam, visited the Olympic Village.
According to the Ministry of Sports, the high-ranking guest was accompanied by a member of the Executive Bureau of World Aquatics, Shakhnoza Mirziyoyeva, Minister of Sports, Adham Ikramov, Chairman of the Uzbekistan Swimming Federation, Qudratilla Rafikov, NOC leadership, representatives of the Ministry of Sports, and other relevant organizations.
Paolo Zampolli, U.S. Special Envoy for Global Partnerships, and Majid Rashed, President of the Asian Paralympic Committee, attended the event.
The guests were informed about the water sports complex. It was emphasized that it is possible to simultaneously organize continuous swimming and diving training in accordance with international requirements. The delegation members talked with athletes who train at this base.
The opening of the regional center World Aquatics took place.
