The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the auspices of UNESCO organized an International Jazz Festival.

Jazz days in Uzbekistan have been held since 2015. Concerts, master classes, creative meetings, training workshops for students in a number of education institutions, palaces of culture were held within the framework of this years’ festival.

The festival was attended by pop orchestra named after Botir Zokirov of Uzbek State Philharmonic, orchestra of wind musical instruments of the Republican Specialized Music Academic Lyceum of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, creative team of Uzbek State Conservatory and students. Concerts with participation of groups, ensembles and soloists from such countries as the United Kingdom, Hungary, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Israel, Turkey, Indonesia, India were held during the jazz festival.
