Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with the Minister of Migration of Sweden Johan Forssell.

Such conversations are of great importance for Uzbekistan in terms of familiarizing with international experience, developing new solutions to protect the rights and interests of citizens abroad, because Sweden is a country with extensive experience in democratic governance, human rights protection, and effective migration management.

The parties exchanged views on the digitalization of public services in Uzbekistan, improving the system of providing electronic services to the population, and providing local youth with highly paid and competitive jobs. Exporting IT services and the possibility of entering European markets through direct cooperation with Sweden were discussed.

Johan Forssell positively assessed the digital transformation process in Uzbekistan and stressed his willingness to share experiences and strengthen bilateral cooperation in this area.
