According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan’s imports totaled $33.1 billion in January-September 2025, a 15.6% increase from the same period in 2024.

Machinery and transport equipment accounted for the largest share of imports, followed by industrial goods, chemical products, and related items.

Breakdown of Uzbekistan’s Imports (January – September 2025):

Machinery and transport equipment: $11.2 billion (33.9%);

Industrial goods: $5.3 billion (15.9%);

Chemical products and related items: $4.1 billion (12.3%);

Services: $3.6 billion (11%);

Food products and live animals: $3.1 billion (9.3%);

Mineral fuels, lubricants, and similar products: $2.6 billion (7.9%);

Various finished products: $1.2 billion (3.7%);

Non-food raw materials (excluding fuel): $1.1 billion (3.3%);

Animal and vegetable oils, fats, and waxes: $387.5 million (1.2%);

Beverages and tobacco: $251 million (0.8%);

Other goods: $229.7 million (0.7%).
