
At a meeting chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, key tasks were outlined to advance the Olympic movement in the country.
Territorial branches are being established under the National Olympic Committee. During a meeting between officials from the Ministry of Sports and the National Olympic Committee with representatives of these regional branches, priority goals for developing the Olympic movement at the regional level and existing infrastructure challenges were discussed. Emphasis was placed on the importance of studying and analyzing the best practices of leading countries such as the United States, China, and Japan to enhance regional efforts and implement targeted programs.

The importance of creating opportunities for talented youth was emphasized. To achieve this, it is essential first and foremost to enhance the knowledge and experience of coaches and specialists and foster a strong sense of professional responsibility and accountability in their work.
Experts addressed the current state of sports infrastructure in their respective regions and the status of their plans and goals. They also highlighted the need to develop mechanisms for in-depth analysis of existing problems and shortcomings to ensure the effective operation of each territorial branch.
