Local and foreign tourists have recognized the beautiful natural spots of Tashkent region’s Bostanlyk district. There are sufficient conditions and opportunities for tourism development in the region.

The landscaping activities are actively underway here to realize the available opportunities fully. The Charvak Gate residential complex, built in the district is a vivid example of these efforts. An event timed to the opening of this complex took place today.

The event was attended by representatives of state and public organizations, regional activists, intellectuals, and youth. First Deputy Hokim of Tashkent region for Finance, Economics and Poverty Reduction, Otabek Tursunov, and Chairman of the Board of the National Bank of Uzbekistan, Alisher Mirsoatov, stressed that this initiative will further enhance the region’s tourism potential.

It was noted that during his visit to Tashkent region in December 2024, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev became familiar with this project and made the necessary recommendations for developing tourism and creating amenities for the population and tourists. Recently, large-scale landscaping activities have been underway here.

The project was presented at the event. The guests enjoyed a concert program with the participation of famous artists.

According to the experts, Tashkent region has adopted a program to specialize regions in certain tourism areas. Based on it, practical activities are underway to launch 265 investment projects totaling $3 billion 285 million. The project will be implemented in 2025-2026. Of these, $1 billion 914 million is accounted for by foreign investments. The full implementation of the projects will create 14,487 new jobs.
