The Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Energy, and the Uzbek-Japanese Youth Innovation Center launched the ENE Kids pilot project to save water and electricity.

More than 500 seventh-grade students from 11 selected schools in Tashkent city and Syrdarya region are participating in the project.

The project helps develop children’s skills in efficient energy and water use and demonstrates the benefits of saving resources throughout the country.

It is worth noting that such initiatives encourage the younger generation to contribute to solving environmental problems.

As part of the project, Japanese expert Yuki Yanagida organized trainings for teachers of experimental schools.
