An important political campaign in Uzbekistan – the elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, People’s Deputies of the regional, district and city councils began in Fergana region with the active participation of the population. 1210 polling stations were created, and the voting process started at 8:00.

The 71st polling station in Fergana was crowded with voters from early morning. The national anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was played. The Chairman of the precinct election commission Muhammadjon Mamajonov announced that the voting had begun. After that, the elders of the mahalla started voting.

More than 2,000 voters are registered in this precinct. 201 of them voted early.

Necessary measures were taken to hold elections at a high level in all polling stations in the region. In particular, the polling stations were equipped based on the established requirements. There are all the conditions and facilities for the voters.

More than 2 million 229 thousand voters are registered in the region. The political campaign under the slogan “My choice is a prosperous country” is organized openly and transparently within the framework of the national election legislation.
