Cooperation of the CIS countries in the fight against the negative consequences of coronavirus infection is of great importance. The economies of these countries are highly dependent on each other. There are close cooperative, investment, and migration ties between them. Consequently, the CIS countries only together can successfully solve the unprecedented difficulties that arise. Mobilization and effective implementation of joint efforts will serve to achieve the goals. For this, it is necessary to use the available capabilities of the CIS, monitor and exchange operational information on the epidemiological situation, provide mutual advisory and practical assistance in the fight against COVID-19 in the Commonwealth countries.
In this regard, the international videoconference is very relevant both from the point of view of the selected problem, and from the point of view of the format of its holding, as well as the composition of participants from 9 CIS countries that represent leading universities of their states. The integration of the academic community of the CIS countries is an important factor in internationalization of education and strengthening glorious traditions of cooperation.
