84 teams from 21 countries (more than 600 participants) tested their knowledge at the 16th International Zhautykov Olympiad in mathematics, physics and computer science.
This authoritative International Olympiad has been held since 2005, teams of schools from various countries specializing in STEM education (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) are involved in it.
According to the results of the Olympiad, a silver medal was awarded to a student of the 11th grade of general education school No. 18 of Peshkun district of Bukhara region, Jakhongir Norboyev. A student of the 10th grade of the specialized secondary school No. 5 of Gijduvan district of Bukhara region Diyorbek Tolibov, a student of the 11th grade of a specialized secondary school No. 1 of Kitab district of Kashkadarya region Eldor Nematov, a student of the Republican Specialized Academic Lyceum named after S. Sirojiddinov, Farrukh Makhmudov, a student of the academic lyceum at Namangan State University Ibrokhimjon Mirgiyasov, a student of Karakul academic lyceum of Bukhara State University Shakhboz Khasanov won bronze medals.
