These days, the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan – UzLiDeP and its candidates are conducting pre-election campaigning.
The following campaign was held in Bozatau district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. A meeting with the candidate for deputy of the Legislative Chamber from UzLiDeP Bakhitbay Aldamuratov was held in the Agency for Youth Affairs district office.
The candidate for deputy acquainted the meeting participants with the party’s election program, the slogan of which was “Not a promise, but a result, not tomorrow, but today!” and some of the goals and objectives outlined in it.
As noted, doing business will be simplified. Measures will be taken to eliminate almost 1000 bureaucratic barriers. The number of licenses will be halved. A notification system will be introduced for 60 types of activities for which licenses will be canceled.
An uncompromising fight against the shadow economy will also be carried out.
Another idea the party put forward was noted: the responsibilities of private sector employers to employees will be simplified in accordance with labor legislation.
The necessary measures are expected to increase the non-state sector’s share in the economy to 85 percent in the next five years. The law “On Public Procurement” will be improved to ensure transparency in public procurement and expand the private sector’s participation.
