Uzbek Commodity Exchange representatives visited the United States.

The delegation visited the U.S. to establish cooperation with stock exchanges, government regulators, brokerage offices, software and IT companies to organize futures trading in Uzbekistan.

With the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States, a trilateral meeting was held with the Attorney Advisor-International at the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) Michael Cofield and Deputy Director at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission Kevin Piccoli.

Issues related to the regulatory framework, organization and conducting futures trading in the commodity segment were discussed at the meeting.

Agreements were reached following the talks at Connomara Systems LLC. The parties will cooperate in the development of software for futures trading for Uzbekistan stock exchange and the introduction of modern IT technologies.

The company also made proposals for the organization and conducting futures trading on Uzbek Commodity Exchange.
