On February 25-27, Tashkent hosted the international exhibition “Construction – UzBuild 2025”.

Gullola Nodirkhanova, Project Director of UzBuild at Iteca Exhibitions, shared insights with UzA correspondent about the event’s participants and its practical outcomes:

– We have successfully concluded this year’s international exhibition. Both local and foreign manufacturers showcased their products. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to our local partners and government organizations.

The UzBuild 2025 exhibition was jointly organized by Iteca Exhibitions, the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Uzbekistan, the Uzqurilishmateriallari Association, and other organizations.

As for the participants, their numbers have been growing each year. This year, the event welcomed over 400 guests from 21 countries. The United Kingdom, Germany, Türkiye, the Russian Federation, and several Spanish companies presented national pavilions. Delegations from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Afghanistan, China, and the UAE also participated in the exhibition.

At the opening ceremony, it was emphasized that this event is one of the most significant in Uzbekistan’s construction industry, providing an effective platform for local and international companies to showcase their achievements and innovations. The exhibition brought together specialists in construction materials, technologies, and equipment, covering all stages of construction – from design to interior decoration. This year, representatives from Kaluga region, Russia, joined the event for the first time.

It is important to note that UzBuild is the only construction and interior exhibition in Uzbekistan that has the official status of an event approved by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).

The sixth International Conference on the Construction Industry (ICCI 2025) was also held as part of the event. The conference, themed “The Construction Potential of New Uzbekistan”, brought together representatives of leading companies, financial institutions, and top international experts. It provided a platform to explore global best practices in the industry while presenting local projects to potential investors and partners.

More than 40 speakers and 650 delegates from 10 countries discussed construction innovations, modern technologies, energy efficiency, and urban development. Additionally, the conference addressed the prospects for construction and infrastructure development within the frameworks of the “New Tashkent” and “New Uzbekistan” projects.

Several agreements were reached on developing Uzbekistan’s construction market and implementing innovations in the industry.

Essentially, this is the event’s primary goal – to create an environment for effective dialogue between domestic and international manufacturers, offering them extensive opportunities to establish partnerships and foster mutually beneficial cooperation.
