The delegation of the Space Research and Technology Agency of Uzbekistan takes part in the international conference ENGAGE-2022 dedicated to space technologies and solutions.

At a meeting with the leadership of the Italian company Planetek, representatives of the Uzbekspace Agency got acquainted with the Ritikus platform based on cloud technologies and infrastructure monitoring based on In-SAR radar technologies.

An agreement was reached on the joint implementation of a pilot project on monitoring reservoirs in Uzbekistan, organizing training for agency employees and specialists from relevant organizations to develop skills in the application of radar technologies, as well as conducting scientific research on individual projects.

At the meeting between the Acting Director General of the Uzbekspace Agency Shukhrat Kadirov and President of the Portuguese Space Agency Ricardo Conde, an agreement was reached on organizing training to develop skills in remote sensing of the Earth, familiarization with ongoing projects and the development of a Memorandum of Understanding to establish cooperation in supporting youth and increasing their interest in the space industry.

Following the meetings held within the framework of the conference, the parties agreed to hold talks on areas of cooperation of mutual interest.
