The Uzbekistan national team claimed first place in the overall team standings at the Central Asian Youth Chess Championship (ages 8-18), which concluded in Kyrgyzstan.

The championship brought together 425 talented chess players from five countries. Following the 9-round tournament, members of the Uzbekistan team earned a total of 6 gold, 4 silver, and 6 bronze medals. Medal winners included Mehribonu Nazirkulova, Abduqodir Bakhodirov, Alisher Abduqayumov, Temur Shavkatov, Jahongir Dilmurodov, and Fazliddin Farhodov.

Teams from Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan followed Uzbekistan in the final rankings.
