At the recently concluded Asian Wrestling Championships for juniors and youth held in Vietnam, Uzbekistan’s representatives won a total of 40 medals.

On the final day of the freestyle wrestling competitions in the U-17 age category, members of Uzbekistan’s national team claimed two silver and three bronze medals. Silver medals were won by Ulugbek Rashidov (up to 51 kg) and Abdumalik Jaloliddinov (up to 55 kg). Bronze medals went to Mirjalol Mukammilov (up to 45 kg), Shahobiddin Nurmanov (up to 48 kg), and Fakhriddin Nasriddinov (up to 60 kg).

Following the two-day freestyle wrestling contests in the U-17 category, Uzbekistan’s athletes earned one gold, three silver, and five bronze medals, securing 3rd place in the overall team standings.

In this category, Uzbekistan’s athletes won a total of 5 gold, 7 silver, and 12 bronze medals in Greco-Roman, freestyle, and women’s wrestling.

In the U-23 age category, members of Uzbekistan’s national team in Greco-Roman, freestyle, and women’s wrestling won two gold, five silver, and nine bronze medals.
