At the open tournament for the prize of the three-time winner and record holder of the Olympic Games, Kakhi Kakhiashvili, held in Tbilisi, Georgia, Uzbekistan’s young weightlifter was among the winners.

Hikmatillo Khaydarov, who competed in the weight category up to 81 kilograms, showed the third result in lifting the barbell in the clean and jerk (147 kilograms), snatch (176 kilograms), and total (414 kilograms) and was awarded a bronze medal.

Another Uzbekistan athlete, Batirbek Parakhatov, in the weight category of 89 kilograms, showed the following results: 144 kilograms in the snatch, 170 kilograms in the clean and jerk, and 393 kilograms in the total, taking 7th place.
