At the 92nd General Session of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), held in Paris, special recognition was given to the attention devoted by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the development of the veterinary sector, as well as to the effective implementation of practical measures in this area.

WOAH Director General Emmanuelle Soubeyran proposed that countries around the world consider Uzbekistan’s system and experience in veterinary medicine as a promising model for further development.

At the event, a WOAH medal was presented to Bahrom Norqobilov, Chairman of the Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development.
