Uzbekistan’s tourism potential promoted in Japan

A thematic event on the tourism opportunities of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in Nagoya.

The initiative was implemented jointly with the Japanese tourism company Club Tourism International Inc., with the support of Uzbekistan’s Tourism Ambassador to Japan, Keisuke Minami. Around 200 guests attended the event.

Participants were presented with comprehensive information on Uzbekistan’s cultural and historical heritage, UNESCO World Heritage sites, the tourism potential of the regions, national traditions, cuisine, and popular travel routes of interest to Japanese travelers. Guests were invited to consider Uzbekistan as a promising destination for future trips.

The Head of the Nagoya branch of Club Tourism International Inc., Kenji Yoshizaki, noted steady growth in Japanese tourists’ interest in Uzbekistan and announced plans to develop new tourism programs. In particular, the launch of a special tour titled “Journey to Uzbekistan with Tourism Ambassador Keisuke Minami” is under consideration.

In turn, Uzbekistan’s Tourism Ambassador to Japan, renowned actor Keisuke Minami, shared his impressions of his August 2025 visit to the country and spoke about its rich historical heritage and tourism potential.

In addition, as part of the event, an information stand of Uzbekistan was organized, where visitors could become acquainted with tourism maps and brochures in Japanese.
