Uzbekistan’s photos will be presented at the Wiki Loves Monuments, which is being held in Uzbekistan for the second time with the support of a group of Wikimedians of the Uzbek language User Group together with the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that Uzbekistan’s representatives approached this competition with great interest. As part of the photo contest in Uzbekistan, 97 users uploaded 4,089 images to Wikimedia Commons, including photos showing the unique monuments of the country’s architectural heritage. Thanks to this, Uzbekistan took 12th place out of 56 participating countries.

The jury has completed the images’ evaluation and determined the ten best photos, the authors of which are 9 participants. The competition results are published here:
