On March 1-3, Tashkent will host the Judo Grand Slam tournament.

Currently, at the “Dukent” sports base in Tashkent region, members of the Uzbekistan judo team, under the leadership of head coach Ilias Iliadis, are conducting their last training camp before the tournament.

Uzbekistan women’s judo team is also preparing for the tournament. A joint training camp is being held with the Kazakhstan women’s national team.

In the Grand Slam tournament, over 500 judokas from 72 countries will compete for medals and important ranking points for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
