Singapore hosted the specialized conference and business forum “Uzbekistan Tech & Services Conference”, where the potential of Uzbekistan in the information technology and digital services was widely presented.

The event was organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Singapore, the state agency Enterprise Singapore, and the Singapore Business Federation. The forum aims to strengthen business ties and develop cooperation between the two countries in IT, startup initiatives, digital services, and investment partnerships.

Over 50 representatives of Singapore’s leading technology companies, venture capital funds, and outsourcing companies attended the event. The participants were informed about the prospects of Uzbekistan as an IT location: from a favorable investment environment and developing digital infrastructure to specific projects and initiatives for foreign partners.

BIO, S.E.A Business Center, Vistra, Singapore Cooperation Enterprise, and others have expressed interest in developing cooperation with Uzbekistan. The priorities include the creation of an IT infrastructure, the development of outsourcing, and the training of qualified specialists.

Following the event, preliminary agreements were reached on cooperation between IT Park Uzbekistan and several Singaporean companies. The parties outlined concrete steps to implement joint projects, opening new prospects for strengthening economic ties and technological partnership between Uzbekistan and Singapore.
