Tajikistan’s delegation led by the head of Tojik Pilla organization Nazirsho Nazarov visited the Nurli Tong Silk LLC cluster in Fergana region.

According to Uzbekipaksanoat Association, Tajikistan’s delegation was informed about the activities of sericulture clusters, conditions created by the state for investors, subsidies in the amount of 5 thousand UZS to be allocated for the population for each kilogram of cocoon from 2022 to 2025.

The guests were also informed about the entire technological process – from the harvesting of silkworm grains to the production of finished silk products. The activities of the enterprises of the region for processing cocoons were also studied.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on establishing cooperation to introduce Uzbekistan's experience in Tajikistan’s sericulture sector.
