The Asian Road Cycling Championships concluded in Saudi Arabia.
Following the continental championship, the UCI world and Asian rankings were updated. The Uzbekistan women’s national team, with 1,169 points, ranked first in Asia and 22nd internationally. The men’s national team, with 930 points, rose to second place in the continental ranking and to 40th in the world ranking.

Nearly 350 athletes from 25 countries took part in the continental championship. Athletes from Uzbekistan won one gold medal, two silver medals, and two bronze medals. In the overall team standings, they entered the top three.
