Uzbekistan’s Mumtozbegim Mansurova performed well at the Asian Amateur Chess Championship Women-2023 in Dubai, UAE.

According to the results of fierce competitions, M. Mansurova took second place among female chess players in the rating up to 1700 and in the overall standings – fifth place among 42 participants.

Another of our compatriots, Yulduz Ruzimbetova, who competed among women, took part in international competitions for the first time, thanks to which she improved her experience.

Among the men in this tournament, among the 120 participants, two of Uzbekistan’s chess players tried their luck. So, Botir Mansurov took 47th place, and Aziz Zikrillayev – 104th.

The competition consisted of 9 rounds, during which A. Zikrillayev scored 3.5 points and B. Mansurov – 5 points. The winners were chess players from India, who scored 8.5 and 7.5 points.
