Bahrain hosted the 3rd Asian Youth Games.

Uzbekistan’s athletes won 37 gold, 16 silver, and 28 bronze medals, finishing second in the team events. They lost to China.

The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan presented them with cash prizes.

Odil Abdurakhmanov, Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Sports, Durdona Rahimova, Deputy Hokim of Tashkent city, Adham Ikramov, Minister of Sports, and Otabek Umarov, First Vice President of the National Olympic Committee, attended the awarding ceremony.
