Judo Grand Prix Tournament has taken place in Azerbaijan’s Baku.

Uzbekistan’s athletes won four medals on the second day of the tournament. In particular, Davurkhon Karomatov (-81 kg) and Shirin Sharipov (+100 kg) became gold medalists, while, Sulaymon Alayev and Sharif Khalilov (-100 kg) got bronze medals.

Uzbekistan national team with two gold, five silver and four bronze medals took second place in the team events among 38 countries.

On the first day, Lobar Khurramova (-48 kg), Sevinch Salayeva (-52 kg) and Parvina Samandarova (-57) won silver medals in women's singles, Sherzod Namozov (-60 kg) and Utkir Nigmatov (-66 kg) awarded silver medals in men's championships. Uchkun Kuranbayev (up to 66 kg) got a bronze medal.
