Uzbekistan’s athlete competes with world champions in China
On February 4, the ITTF ATTU Asian Cup Haikou 2026 Table Tennis Tournament has kicked off in China.
This tournament provides an opportunity to participate at the World Cup, to be held from March 30 to April 5 in Macau.
Athletes from 14 countries will compete for victory in singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
Arujan Kamolova is defending Uzbekistan’s honor at the tournament. On February 4, she will take the court against Olympic and World Cup medalist, multiple Asian champion Doo Hoi Kem from Hong Kong.
According to the competition program, A. Kamolova will play her next matches against nine-time world champion Chen Xingtong from China and participant of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris Tung-Chuan Chien from Chinese Taipei.
The tournament will run until February 5.
