Jizzakh hosted a workshop organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of the joint Local Government Development Project.

It was attended by deputy hokims of the Sharaf Rashidov, Pakhtakor, and Zafarabad districts and USAID’s head of this joint project, Robert Bodo.

During the training, primary attention was paid to the roadmap’s goals and objectives (SIAP) and the development of a methodology for further improving service delivery at the local level for working groups created in state and non-governmental organizations within the framework of the joint project.

The training participants listened with great interest to the report of the international expert from Jordan Mohammad Al Amoush on “Joint Project: Goals, Objectives and Prospects”.
