Today, the second multilateral consultative meeting on assessing the Internet environment of Uzbekistan based on UNESCO’s universal indicators was held. This event was organized to evaluate and develop the overall capabilities of the Internet and support the digital transformation in the country.

The meeting was attended by government representatives, international organizations, scientists, and the non-governmental sector, who analyzed the current state of the Internet.

As noted at the event, the Internet is an essential resource for modern society, and its proper use can ensure economic growth and solve social problems. Following the event, the participants made several proposals for improving the country’s digital economy and increasing digital literacy among the population.
