A meeting has been held between the authorized bodies of Uzbekistan and Turkey, responsible for the development of e-commerce, via videoconference.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Investments and Foreign Trade, Development of Information and Communication Technologies, the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Trade of Turkey.

The parties exchanged statistical data on cross-border e-commerce, experience in regulating this sphere, as well as discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in development of real-time trading platforms.

Following the meeting, agreements were reached on joint development and adoption of a practical action plan for development of cooperation in e-commerce, as well as studying the possibilities of integrating trading platforms of Uzbekistan and Turkey.
