The first stage of the Davis Cup will take place on 4-5 March in Tashkent.

Uzbekistan will be represented by Denis Istomin, Humoyun Sultanov, Sanjar Fayziyev, Sergey Fomin and Maksim Shin, while Turkey will be represented by Altuğ Çelikbilek, Cem İlkel, Ergi Kırkın, Yankı Erel, Marsel İlhan.

A draw was held before the qualifying tournament. It was attended by responsible persons of the tennis federations of the two countries led by the Secretary General of Uzbekistan Tennis Federation Iroda Tulyaganova and the President of the Turkish Tennis Federation Cengiz Durmuş. Sanjar Fayziyev and Cem İlkel will be the first to enter the court, then Altuğ Çelikbilek and Sergey Fomin.

24 teams are divided into two groups in the qualifying rounds. Teams that successfully pass this stage will continue to fight in the final.
