As part of Tolerance Week, a photo exhibition titled “Uzbekistan – Tolerant Country” took place at the Tashkent House of Photography of Uzbekistan Arts Academy.

It was attended by activists of the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Committee on Religious Affairs, Academy of Arts, Tashkent House of Photography, friendship societies, and media representatives.

The event aims to demonstrate religious freedom and stability of interethnic relations in Uzbekistan and to preserve and develop these values.

At the opening, it was noted that interethnic harmony, cohesion, and religious tolerance are among state policy priorities.

The exhibition featured almost 80 photographs dedicated to international harmony and religious tolerance.
