Uzbekistan to host Inaugural GDG DevFest
Uzbekistan will host one of the main Google Developers Group (GDG) events for developers – GDG DevFest for the first time.
On November 24, Uzbekistan will host one of the main Google Developers Group (GDG) events for developers – GDG DevFest for the first time. The event is organized by GDG Tashkent Group, Inha University in Tashkent and the Youth Union of Uzbekistan with the support of Google, the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan and the UNDP Office in Uzbekistan.
DevFest is a global event, held worldwide by the Google Developers Group communities with the support of Google.
According to IUT, Google expert Eli Kaplan is expected to arrive in Uzbekistan to participate in the GDG Tashkent DevFest festival.
Participants of the festival, including local and foreign specialists, will discuss the latest trends in the field of information technology. They will consider the use of blockchain, creation of mobile applications, use of VR/AR technologies in business.
It should be noted that since 2015 IUT has been holding Google I/O Extended Tashkent conference for young professionals. The conference serves as a platform to familiarize young specialists of Uzbekistan with the latest relevant concepts of innovative solutions from Google.
