A new step toward the spiritual and cultural unity of the region – the international congress “Spiritual Heritage and Enlightenment in Central Asia” – will take place in Tashkent from November 12 to 16, bringing together representatives of science, culture, and education to pursue a common goal.

A meeting was held at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, attended by responsible representatives of several ministries and agencies, to discuss preparations for holding this major international event at a high level.

The participants reviewed the tasks and responsibilities of the relevant ministries and organizations in preparation for the congress, as well as the measures to be taken to implement them.

Discussions also covered the organization of cultural and educational activities aligned with the forum’s objectives, as well as the conduct of scientific talks and thematic sessions.

Vice President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Bahrom Abdukhalimov highlighting the scientific and spiritual significance of the upcoming event, emphasized that this forum will further unite the peoples of Central Asia, who share common cultural roots.

The congress will feature a plenary session and several sectional meetings involving international and local experts, as well as figures from the fields of science and culture.

In addition, the program includes exhibitions, cultural events, and presentations of scientific publications. The exhibitions will showcase rare books by prominent authors from Central Asian countries, artistic and documentary films, and photographic works by renowned artists. The cultural program will also feature Central Asian and Azerbaijani Cinema Days.

Following the meeting, representatives of the relevant agencies responsible for carrying out the assigned tasks were appointed, and it was decided to establish a special headquarters to coordinate the preparation and high-level organization of the congress.
