It is planned to develop a draft Concept of the Republic of Uzbekistan for further development of open data.

At the roundtable discussion organized by the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the United Nations Development Programme at the Republican Graduate School of Business and Management named after Abu Raihan Beruni, it was noted that in the country with the involvement of experts from UNDP, OSCE and international financial institutions, activity is underway on creating an entirely new open data ecosystem.

In particular, in order to improve the position of the country in international ratings this year, it is planned to develop a draft Concept of the Republic of Uzbekistan for further development of open data, the Global Open Data Index, the Open Data Barometer and the roadmap.

Following the conversation, participants agreed to develop new proposals and recommendations for development of open data resources in the country.
