The 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of Spain was celebrated on 17 March 2022.

On this occasion, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain José Manuel Albares.

It was noted that Uzbekistan considers Spain as a country with significant industrial, scientific-technical, cultural and intellectual potential, as well as a reliable and friendly partner in the European Union.

“Our states have a huge potential for continuous expansion of multifaceted cooperation”, Uzbekistan FM says in the letter.

Confidence is expressed that relations between Uzbekistan and Span, built on the principles of historical friendship and mutual understanding, will continue to develop for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
